- Low-power, lightweight, low-profile distance measuring equipment specifically designed for general aviation aircraft
- Typically used with 339F-12 series, IND-40 series, or IND-41 series DME indicators
- With indicator, system displays distance to ground station in nautical miles, aircraft ground speed in knots or time-to-station in minutes
- With IND-41 series indicators, elapsed time can also be displayed
- Can be tuned with CTL-30, 313N-4D or equivalent VHF NAV control units
